With its debut album, the innovative trio gives the time-honored blues a mighty run for its money. The daring idea of crossing two guitars, vocals and harmonica with the foreign beatbox works splendidly and is not only live, but also fierce in the recording studio. All three musicians are masters of their craft and amaze and groove the listener with multi-layered solos on guitar, harmonica, dobro and the unusual beatbox.

The band opens the album the way they end it: with an instrumental. The opener "Harp Boogie" goes immediately into the leg, the closing song "Benedicita" as Slow Blues directly into the soul. In between lies the entire range of Chris Kramer, Kevin O Neal and Sean Athens: sometimes knee-deep in the blues, sometimes soulful, sometimes rocky, but always tight, straightforward and rousing. Excellent songwriting with coherent lyrics and catchy music, exceptional instrumental performance and Kramer's rubbing iron voice form an intense unity, which can be found in each of the fourteen songs on the album and takes the listener on a unique trip, namely "On The Way To Memphis"
